8/14/2009 – 8/20/2009: The High Sierra is CRAZY BEAUTIFUL. In 2009 Gary, Ben and I spent about a week deep in the mountains. Elizabeth couldn’t make it – something about being a Peace Corps Volunteer in Honduras. I don’t recall that we saw the first person the entire time. We had this incredible
place all to ourselves. So many pictures and so many memories. Really makes me want to stay healthy so I can take a few new little buddies there when they get their backpacking legs under them. I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I do.
In my humble opinion, Wire Lakes is one of those places that epitomizes The High Sierra.
